Breaking Labels

Breaking Labels: Architecture, social justice, and your created environment

Episode Notes

Ever wondered how architecture impacts social and environmental justice? Rosanna never had but this conversation with Angela Mazzi, an architect with a passion for connecting the dots between created environments and their impact on our lives, changed that.

Angela touches on the effect health care environments have on the care people receive, or don't receive in so many cases, as well as how someone can impact their own work environment by where they position their desk and the role clutter plays in your ability to focus.

Angela gives tips for teachers who may have no control over the room they're assigned  or the amount of fluorescent light in it but still want to create an environment conducive to focusing and learning.
